Lonesome

Are you lonesome tonight,
on lifes train of freight,
crying into the wind?
Does the day slip away,
into dark shades of grey,
as you think of how you once grinned?
Are you witness to slander,
but just take a gander,
at God's proof to exist?
Doyou see the moon stoop,
as its top begins to droop,
gravity it resists?
Do you see the merry people,
with their joy and shrouded steeple,
as they willingy let life take them by?
Do you swim against the current,
through a never ending torrent,
in tears that youve once cried?
Does the train leave the station,
leaving your creation,
of all your anger and fear?
Do you walk alone through crowded streets,
as you hear the peoples feets,
clacking on your cobblestone mirror?
Now tell me my reader,
to us are you the feeder,
to all of out pain and tears?
